He
picked out a red bitch and named her Penny Lover de
Proci (See Memory). This was the start of his
great love for the Bull Terrier breed. After
loving her for 7 years we had to relieve her of her
struggle with epilepsy.

Years later, Phil was 25 and lived on his own. He
went to the Yoeckydoe’s Kennel in Belgium to buy a white
bitch. In November 2001, Isa came into the house and
after 7 month’s she went to her first Bull Terrier show.
It was just to try, at a Club match in the Puppy
class. It went quite well, so they went on and
got a good taste for showing. After attending
several shows, mostly with Heike (the breeder
of Isa), the thoughts began to grow to have a litter
with Isa. In 2 004, Phil and Isa flew to
America, it was a great adventure and a good lesson for
the future of our kennel. The next year, Phil
and Agnes met each other on a Bull Terrier walk.
Agnes was the founder of a very popular Bull Terrier site
the 'Bull Terrier Lounge'. In
1999 Agnes had her first contact with the Bull Terrier
breed. An older neighbor owned a Bull Terrier and
she was in love in an instant, even more so after
listning to all the stories of her neighbo. She researched
the Bull Terrier, and in January 2002 she brought
Ricco home. All her expectations of the Bull Terrier
came true and it changed her life in a radical and
positive way!
We
are now together with our loved Bull Terriers. After
a short while we found out that we both had the wish to
breed a litter with our Bull Terrier Isa. We
decided to apply for a kennel name. The name
we chose... BIGSHOT.
Why this name? While Phil was in America,
he saw pictures and a film of a stud dog called Action Big
Shot. He was so impressed with the dog,
we chose to call our kennel name Bigshot. We also
think that Bull Terriers are
real Bigshots.
We
strive to breed beautiful Bull Terriers with good health and lovely
temperaments, and we hope to share our passion for the
Bull Terrier with other people. As they say: Once a Bull
Terrier owner, always a Bull Terrier owner.
